James taught us how to use the live bucket tool to colour in open paths in our drawings. I have lots of open paths in mine so this will be useful to me. However, I found that doing it this way takes away the tapered look of my lines and I'm not sure if there is a way to edit them back to the way I want it
So I went to look for a tutorial for an alternative way of colouring without altering the look of my lines - Here I used the Blob brush tool on a different layer to my lines (with my lines layer locked):
I quite like the inaccurate colouring above, but I can also tidy it up with the eraser tool:
But then I realised if I want my image to be lineless, this wouldn't really work (well it would but it wouldn't be neat). What if I keep the lines but make them the same or a slightly darker colour?
You don't really get the detail of the flower if lines are the same colour
I think this works better, but it still would take ages to do
