ROH idea in more detail

in relation to last blog post - poster idea.

Since opera "deals with big human themes – life, love, death, loss, passion, joy, anger, humour – opera is relevant to everyone, and all can understand, appreciate and enjoy it" I thought it would be a good idea to illustrate the target audience in everyday situations/setting but as characters (costumes and all) from well known opera plays (or vice versa) - so illustrating common emotions that both audience and characters from opera often experience: mixing opera with real life, making it appear relatable to target audience. (does that make sense? makes sense in my head haha)
or maybe to put it simply; illustrating scenes/characters from well known operas but putting them in normal life situations/setting. This idea is sort of inspired by these actually gorgeous photographs by Uderground NYC:

so mixing reality and opera together, maybe could even mix photographs with illustrations - backgrounds could be photographs (could ask help from Becca's photographer housemate with this maybe). and then on the poster we could have a really clever tag line like... I don't know haha but something that sort of describe how 'opera is relevant to everyone' because how relatable they can be.
