A Matter of Opinion Development

I liked the idea that was suggested to me in the previous crit session about the long format to suggest the idea of an on going failure and improvement. So I experimented about with this:

Here, the grey shapes are just there to indicate where the images will go - I picked these four ideas as they look the most fitting with each other. However, I don't quite like how these fit together in this particular way - the composition looks a little too complicated and messy - I like the simplicity of the first experimentation that I brought with me to the crit.
