The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind is an illustrated children's book inspired by a true story about William Kamkwamba in Malawi. Despite poverty and having to drop out of school, at 14 years old, the young Malawian took the initiative to educate himself and build, from scratch, a windmill that could provide electricity and irrigation for his family.
