Contextual Research: Celine Kim

Celine Kim is majoring in illustration (entertainment arts) at Art Center College of Design. I've been following her for a while now because her work amazes me! This is the level of awesomeness I want to be at in a couple of years time! I got a lot of improving to do! Right now Celine is working on some visual development for Phantom of the Opera for her graduate project (processes of this she posts on her Tumblr) and this is also the kind of thing I want to do! With the new idea for my big project, I think I'll be able to do something like this - exploring characters, compositions, atmospheres, etc. which I'm excited about! But now that I think about it, I'm not sure if it's wise of me to base my project on 3 characters/stories. maybe I should focus on one first? I feel like doing one isn't substantial enough though, so I think I'm going to ask Fred, Patrick or anyone else in the peer review on Thursday if they have any opinions of this.
