Drawn Animation

Study task progress continued:
Putting together animation in After Effects -
Editing and adjusting scale, position etc.
Animation Study Task 1 from Aghnia Mardiyah on Vimeo.

I am quite pleased with what I have produced for this task. Although the task was to create a hand drawn animation with 48-60 frames, I think I actually created something with a few more frames. I really like the texture of the bits that are shaded in and I like that it gave it a bit of movement - I really like this hand drawn quality. Towards the end, I kind of found it a little too time consuming to shade everything that I wanted shaded in, so I left it as is, although I think it would have made it look a lot better if the texture was consistent throughout the animation - but I think you can still get the idea of what I was trying to achieve.

I put the animation together in After Effects, to practice my newly gained knowledge of the programme. I added in the fades and zooms, which I think I did pretty alright in. I would like to try and experiment animating with digitally produced images.
